Details: Each backpack features a laptop sleeve up to 33cm. The backpacks have strong zippers and soft, lined straps. The part that lies against the back is equally soft and comfortable. It is extremely strong but also extremely breathable. The backpack features multiple pockets on the front and two side pockets for bottles.

Care: Hemp will not wear out with time, in fact, it will become more supple after each wash. You can wash your backpack in a washing machine or by hand, in warm water using a gentle detergent, preferably up to 40 degrees. After washing, the backpack should be air-dried.

Hemp – An Eco-Friendly Star

 

Hemp is one of the most eco-friendly plants in nature. It is resistant to drought, it grows fast, and requires no pesticides. Compared to cotton, an acre of land can produce an annual quantity of hemp fabrics while it would require 2-3 acres to produce the same amount of cotton fabric. Cotton requires many pesticides and herbicides to grow. In fact, 50% of all the pesticides and herbicides used in the world per year are used for growing cotton. Hemp does not require any pesticides or herbicides, just a modest amount of fertilizer. It takes years for trees to grow enough to be used for paper or wood, while hemp can be harvested as soon as 120 days after planting. Hemp can be grown in most types of soil, while forests and tree farms require large areas of land available only in a handful of locations. Furthermore, using hemp instead of trees can reduce the erosion and the loss of the uppermost layer of soil and prevent water contamination caused by erosion.
